Well, Butterflies, it’s time to gear up for our last adventure of the school year. This month we’ll be exploring the continent of Antarctica. We’re going to learn about the environment, animals, and people that live there. Our focus in math will be reviewing the addition and subtraction concepts we’ve been learning about. Our friends have been doing amazing work with and mastering those sounds. This month we’re going to introduce capital letters and sentence building while going over word spacing as well as the use of a period. Read more

I go to a school called Oneonta Montessori
You’ll learn all about it as you read this story
It is an elementary school from preschool to sixth grade
A good place to go where beautiful artworks have been made
Starting in third grade you’ll be taught fractions and their parts
And you will learn other subjects too, like cultural arts
There is a daycare program and it’s absolutely great
So don’t worry if your parents must work late
We have many contests such as the Spelling Bee
There is a Science Fair too, and one for Poetry
You’re really missing out if you don’t come here
On wonderful things that may happen all throughout the year.
