Alhambra Rose Parade Float Design from OMS Student

October 30, 2019 By ray

FANTASTIC NEWS!

This year’s Alhambra Rose Parade Float was designed by one of our students who beat out all the kids in Alhambra schools who participated in the contest.

GABRIEL GONZALES, a 5th grader, titled his float ‘HOPE KEEPS US GOING’.

The city is calling for volunteers to decorate the float and we would like to ask all our wonderful parents to sign up to help make Gabriel’s project come to life.

Volunteers must be over 13 years of age to participate. Gabriel will be riding on the float on New Year’s Day, so if you are on the parade route, make sure to give him a big cheer.

Gabriel, we are extremely proud of you!
