Hello, June! Everything good and magical happens in June. To start off, we are so proud to launch our new virtual art exhibit inspired by different famous artists and creatively done by our young artists. In literature, the kids are going to be busy reading the biography book of their choice and start working on their biography report. They will also practice their writing skills by providing prompts to create different types of writing.
In math, third graders will hone their skills in multiplication and division by answering word problems. In history, we will take a virtual field trip to the past as we talk about more famous people and important events. In zoology, they’ll discuss how to keep the body strong and healthy by eating the right amount of foods, and in geography, they’ll review types of clouds in different weather conditions.
Fourth graders will continue to master multiplication and division with decimals. In history, they will report on the world’s current events. In zoology, they will review, compare, and analyze the vital functions of invertebrate animals. And in geography, we will embark on a virtual field trip to Australia and review land and water forms, countries, famous landmarks, and cultures.
Brace yourselves for a few more weeks of fun and the learning experience of distance education. It’s a perfect time to celebrate Father’s Day with the family. Lastly, thank you for your undying support and guidance in keeping the learning alive and fun as we had to make such a quick switch to this new method of teaching and learning. With your cooperation and support, we did it, and we did it extremely well. Thank you!
