Wow! I cannot believe that June is already here! We have had such a fun, exciting, and challenging year. Starting off June is our Virtual Art Exhibition to show off our students’ artwork inspired by different famous artists. Please make sure to visit our school website and be amazed at their own interpretations and creativity.
Our budding writers will be busy working on their orange cards for their writing prompts, shorts stories, and poems. They will make a compilation of all their work for their book project in language, which will be due on June 19th. They will continue to hone their skills in solving math problems involving rational numbers, integers, and graph functions for math. The study of mammals and their orders will keep our 6th graders busy in zoology while the 5th graders will continue with their study of the human body system, focusing on the excretory and endocrine systems.
For history, we will continue to follow the footsteps of famous people, and their great discoveries, that made a great impact on our changing world. And of course, graduation is coming up. We’ll keep you posted on how we will celebrate it in our own little way.
Last, but not least, June celebrates all the fathers out there – pillars of strength and support in every family. Happy Father’s Day! As we wind down the school year, it has been my privilege to be your child’s teacher. Even though this year didn’t go according to plan, I’m very happy to report that your children excelled in their academic work and fulfilled my goal as their teacher. Thank you, parents, for guiding your children and being so supportive!
